Invites were sent last week – we’ve already received 25 or so RSVP cards in the mail! So far everyone is coming, it’s going to be a crazy, good time!

From East

Take Interstate 696 West to the Evergreen Exit. Continue South on Evergreen and continue to 10 Mile Road (approximately 1 mile). Take 10 Mile Road west and take an immediate right on Northwestern Service Drive. The entrance to the hotel will be on the right.

From Detroit Metropolitan Airport

Take Interstate 94 East to North Southfield Freeway (M-39).   Continue approximately 15 miles to 10 Mile Road west to Evergreen. Proceed past two lights to the service road of M-10. The hotel entrance is on the right.

From North

Take Interstate 75 South to Interstate 696 (approximately 9.9 miles). Continue on I-696 to the Evergreen Exit (approximately 4.1 miles). Travel 1 mile south to 10 Mile Road. Proceed west on 10 Mile Road and take an immediate right onto Northwestern Service Drive. The entrance to the hotel is on the right.

From West

Take Interstate 94E to Exit 204 Southfield Freeway. Merge onto M-39N Southfield Freeway. Take M-10N Exit and continue to Evergreen/10 Mile Exit. Stay on the service road through 2 lights. The hotel is on the right.

From South

Take Interstate 75 North to Southfield Freeway(M-39). Turn left (West) and continue on to Southfield Freeway (M-39), approximately 1.5 miles. Take M-10 north and merge onto M-10N. Take Evergreen Road /10 Mile Exit. Continue on the service road through 2 lights. The hotel is on the right.

After viewing tons of videos and reading reviews, we have selected our wedding videographer, John Kerfoot of Tri-Foot Productions. It was very hard to find someone who is talented, shoots in high-def and doesn’t cost a fortune. Our photographer, Amanda actually recommended him, so we know he’ll be great to work with. Everything is falling into place, now Kris just needs to find a dress!

Update: we found a bunch of videos that John created, they are parodies of the “Pure Michigan” videos, pretty funny stuff – check ‘em out for a good laugh: Not So Pure Michigan

We’ve only seen a few samples from Amanda so far (click below to enlarge), but they look awesome! We should have the rest in 3-4 weeks or so, can’t wait to see.

We’ll be sending out our save the dates in the next couple months! Amanda Williams is shooting our engagement photos next week (9/14) – can;t wait to see them, we’re going to downtown Detroit for the shoot, should be pretty cool!

We are moving right along, luckily Kris has enough ambition for both of us or nothing would get done. It was a tough decision, but we’ve decided on Amanda Williams, an amazing photographer (click that link!), and DJ Joe Ostervik from Mobile Rhythm DJs! Just need to find a videographer that can shoot in HD and isn’t a cheeseball with shaky hands. We appreciate your suggestions.
